I make very personal espresso machines
It started with millions. Twenty years of precision engineering in mass production — automotive components, tight tolerances, the same part made thousands of times until it was perfect. I was good at it. Really good. But mass production is optimised for cost. Every unique detail is a problem to be solved. Every personal touch is a defect to be eliminated. Scale and soul don’t coexist well.
Somewhere in those years, something shifted. Craftsmanship was never foreign to me — my father taught me what it means to work with your hands, to care about how something is made, not just what it does. That never left. I started wondering what would happen if I took everything I knew about precision — and used it to make something exactly once. Not optimised for a market. Not configured from a menu. Built for one person, with everything I know.
That question became this machine.
I design every component myself. I select the materials, find the right production technology, adjust each part until it fits perfectly, polish and treat every surface by hand — until they’re right. Not right enough. Right. Then I assemble it, piece by piece, in my workshop. Everything is sold directly from here. No middlemen. Just me and the person the machine is made for.
Some people find me and want exactly that: a machine with that level of care behind it, built by someone who can’t separate his name from his work.
Others want to go further. They want to sit with me — talk about materials, aesthetics, the details only they would notice — and shape something together that couldn’t exist for anyone else. Those machines become very personal in a different way. Not just mine. Theirs.
Either way: one person, doing very personal work.
